High-flow folding filter cartridge

High-flow folding filter cartridge is a commonly used product in industries such as food, beverage, beer, chemical, and pharmaceutical for filtration purposes. It employs horizontal pleating technology to maximize the filtration medium area within limited space. The folding technique ensures that fluid passes through every unit area of the filtration medium, maximizing the effective filtration area.

In terms of advantages, the High-flow folding filter cartridge has a large filtration area, low initial pressure drop, fast flow rate, small filter volume, and low cost. Combining pre-filtration and final filtration into one, it has a large dirt-holding capacity. Its service life is longer compared to single pore size filter cartridge. Being made of a single polypropylene material, its chemical compatibility is easy to determine.

However, there are limitations to the high-flow folding filter cartridge. Due to the folding of the filter paper, the working pressure generally should not exceed 0.3 MPa. Excessive pressure may cause micro-pore expansion, leading to solid penetration, especially when the working temperature exceeds 60°C, resulting in poor reverse flushing effects.

Apart from the above, it's essential to understand that the high-flow folding filter cartridge is a double-layer polypropylene folding structure. The inner layer serves as the final filtration layer, while the outer layer uses non-woven fabric with a coarse pore size for pre-filtration. The inner and outer supports are made of polypropylene or stainless steel material, making it a combination of pre-filtration and final filtration. Additionally, the product features high retention rate, high flow rate, low pressure drop, and extensive chemical compatibility. Its production process employs unique thermal fusion welding technology, without any adhesives or foreign substances. As for membrane-based high-flow folding filter cartridge, after determining the membrane material, polypropylene non-woven fabric (mesh) is divided into guiding layer and supporting layer, folded and inserted into the central tube, and then assembled into the housing. All parts are welded using adhesive-free thermal fusion welding technology, forming a complete filter cartridge free from chemical pollutants.
